Dante' Morehead

Dante’ Morehead (he/him) is the Co-Chair for the Student Advisory Board (SAB) at the ARCH Center. He graduated with an MPH in Public Health from the University of Illinois. He is a PhD candidate here at the University of Washington’s School of Public Health in the Health Systems and Population Health Department. His research focuses on cancer-health inequities and health outcomes, particularly looking at the role of social determinants and how socio-contextual factors impact prevention and early detection of cancer in underrepresented and BIPOC populations. His background is in community health, health education, patient-centered outcomes research, and community-based participatory research through and anti-racist lens. In his free time, he enjoys music, being a Leo (that’s right, you’re welcome!) sports, spending time with friends and family, building relationships, and trying to make other people laugh or smile.
