ARCH Projects: Igniting Change, Transforming Health

We strive to be a trusted resource for communities who need support with data gathering, analysis, and interpretation to build rock-solid evidence for community-led solutions. We provide technical assistance and work in multisectoral partnerships to co-design, implement, and evaluate anti-racist strategies as well as reshape narratives to build community power. We support anti-racist strategies that disrupt structural racism and discrimination by shifting policies, practices, and relationships that perpetuate health disparities.

We are developing anti-racism scholarship to continue truth-telling for the elucidation of structural inequities to identify mechanisms for disruption and repair.

We are also partnering with the Washington State Department of Health (WA DOH) and Public Health Seattle-King County (PHSKC) to describe and develop best practices for large institutions to center voice and authentically partner with communities directly impacted by structural racism and discrimination. We recognize the need for tangible results that are community-driven. We are working with the community-based organizations convened by the Community Driven Outreach (CDO) Program, the Community Collaborative, and the Pandemic and Racism Community Advisory Group (PARCAG) as well as community health workers and promotoras (CHW/Ps) to develop the following resources for fostering community-led solutions and institutional anti-racist transformation.
